Terms of Service
By using BuildPrompts you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — they're written in plain English.
1. The service
BuildPrompts ("the service", "we", "us") is an AI prompt building tool operated by Cre8iveMonk, UK. The service is available at buildprompts.co and allows registered users to generate, refine, save and share AI prompts.
2. Your account
To use the full service you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your password secure and confidential
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access
You must be at least 13 years old to use BuildPrompts. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement.
3. Free and Pro plans
Free plan — 5 prompts per day, ad-supported, basic features.
Pro plan — unlimited prompts, no ads, full history, compare mode, and priority features. Billed monthly at the price displayed at time of purchase via Stripe.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Founding member pricing is locked as described at time of purchase.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use BuildPrompts to:
- Generate prompts intended to produce illegal, harmful, abusive or deceptive content
- Attempt to bypass or abuse the daily prompt limits
- Reverse engineer, scrape or otherwise extract our systems or data at scale
- Impersonate other users or BuildPrompts staff
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the ideas and prompts you create using BuildPrompts. By using the service you grant us a limited licence to store and display your prompts to you and (if you choose to share) via shareable links.
We do not claim ownership of your prompts and we do not use them to train AI models.
6. AI-generated content
BuildPrompts uses Anthropic's Claude API to generate prompts. The quality and accuracy of generated content is not guaranteed. You are responsible for reviewing and using generated prompts appropriately. We are not liable for any results you obtain by using prompts generated through our service in third-party AI tools.
7. Availability
We aim to keep BuildPrompts available 24/7 but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We will try to give advance notice of planned downtime.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuildPrompts and Cre8iveMonk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. On termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email of any material changes. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
